Sleeveless top for Plus Size Barbie Doll~

Ever since Mattel have introduced different body shape for Barbie... We have been thinking about making doll clothes tutorial for all different body types...

So there you go... The first time ever on KK Doll Village site...

A doll clothes tutorial for Plus size Barbie Doll... Hope you guys love it!

It's already Autumn now in New Zealand and going to step into Winter season soon... Oh~ How I missed Summer where I can hanging outside wearing shorts and slippers......

And that's why I decided to make some cute summer outfits for our Curvy Barbie~

A sleeveless top... with RIBBON!!! >.<

Let's jump in!!!

Things you're gonna need for this particular project are...

- Fabric of your choice

- Needle & thread

- Scissors

- Water soluble pen

- Sewing machine (optional)

- Ribbon

- Velcro tape

- Sewing pins

Step by step tutorial...

1. Choose your model and take measurement for the pattern...

- Bust

- Waist

* I have included how I took the measurement for the pattern in video on our YouTube channel so be sure to check it out*

This is roughly how the pattern will be like...

2. Draw the pattern on fabric and don't forget to leave some allowances in between...

3. Cut them out~

4. Start by pinning the front piece and the back together for top and bottom part separately...

5. Sew them together~

6. Now this is optional~

As for the top part, look for the center point of the front and make a mark... Draw a line vertically about 0.5cm from the mark, this is for some decorative design for the garment so it's up to you whether you wanna do this or leave it like it is...
