Korean Fashion is HERE in KK Doll Village!!!

Ever since we made modern Japanese Kimono for our LOL Surprise OMG Doll... We figured that we might as well make some Korean fashion for them...

After some consideration, we thought that modern style hanbok will look better on them compared to traditional style Hanbok... Also it's easier to make too >.<

Let's go and see how its made!!!

Things you need for this project :

- Fabric of your choice (at least 2 for 1 set)

- Scissors

- Needle & thread

- Sewing pin

- Ribbon

Step by step instructions :

1. Firstly, print out this paper pattern...

I've prepared this paper pattern to make it easier for y'all... >.<

*please measure the 1cm at the right up corner to make sure it's the right size*

2. Trace pattern onto fabric...

*don't forget to leave some allowances between each pieces*

Please noted that it will be the same way to make for both long and short top... ^.<

After trace everything, cut them out leaving allowances on side...

3. Start with the back of the top...

Pin and sew the back together...

4. Hem the cuff edge

Pin and hem the edge of the cuff for both sleeves...

5. Sew the back and front pieces together...

Sew the back & front pieces together until the reach of the mark...

Don't forget to trim off all the unwanted part...

Also make a notch at the arm hole point... Then turn the right side out...

6. Attach the collar

pin the collar onto the body piece right side to right side~

then carefully sew them together...

Fold in the collar and pin to secure in place,

Sew again and trim off all the excess... ^.^

7. Hem the edges...

Pin and hem all edges...

I used to do side edges and then the bottom edge... but it's totally up to you as long as all edges are hemmed...

8. Attach the ribbons on the top...

use a water erasable pen to make a mark and then handstitched ribbons onto the top...

And then the top is DONE~

9. Time to make skirt!

Trace the waist band and skirt onto fabric... Don't forget to leave allowances around edges and make a mark on the center point~

10. Pin and sew together...

pin the skirt part with the waist band, make pleads at the same time...

Sew them together carefully...

11. Hem all edges...

hem the top edge first, and then attach the ribbons on both sides while hemming....

at last hem the bottom edge...

And you're DONE~
