LOL Surprise OMG Doll Strawberry Dress!!!

Updated: Nov 8, 2020

Lately we noticed that there's a beautiful dress being pretty popular on the Internet...

The Strawberry Dress from Lirika Matoshi...

Since the dress look so gorgeous... We are thinking to make one for our adorable LOL OMG Doll... But instead of a silhouette midi dress covered with strawberries, we make them with cotton as it's easier to handle...

So let's take a look on how this adorable little dress was made...

Things you'll need for this project :

- Fabric of your choice

- Needle & thread

- Scissors

- Sewing pin

- Sewing machine (highly recommended)

- Ribbon

Step by step instructions :

1. First of all, transfer the pattern onto our fabric...

Don't forget to leave some gaps in between...

*Please noted that this pattern only applied for LOL OMG Doll*

2. Cut them out~

Don't forget to leave some allowances at all edges...

Layout everything to make sure there is no missing piece...

3. Attach the shoulder part together and hem the edge of sleeves...

pin the front and back top pieces together right side to right side~

sew only the shoulder line... also hem the edge of the sleeves...

4. Attach the sleeves with the top...

Trim the edge of the sleeves also make some notches to make it easier to sew the curve line...

5. Hem the edge of the top...

make some notches on the edge so it's easier to sew the curve line~

6. Sew the top together...

pin them right side to right side and sew them together...

7. Hem the bottom edge of the dress...

Sew one side edge of the dress, then make notches at the bottom edge, pin and hem the bottom edge...

8. Attach the top & bottom part together~

Start by pinning the front top and bottom part together, sew with care and make sure they are in the right position~

Then, make a cut at the back bottom part before attach the back top with it...

9. Hem the edges at the back...

10. Make a ruffle and attach onto the bottom edge of dress...

cut out a strip of fabric (I'm using tulle here), make it into ruffle

and then, pin it onto the bottom edge of the dress and sew them together...

11. At last, add on ribbon for finishing...

We need 5 pieces in total, 2 for sleeves and 3 for the waist~

Hand sewing for this step..

And you're DONE~~~
