Barbie Lemon Dress...

Tis the season to be jolly... Falalalala... Lalalala... It's Christmas season!!!

It's almost Summer time in New Zealand, so we thought of making a nice dress with summer vibes for our girls... and so lemon dress came to our mind... ^.^

These are what you'll need for this project :

- Sewing machine (highly recommended)

- Needle & thread

- Fabric of your choice

- Scissors

- Zip

- Sewing pin

- Water erasable pen

- Scrap paper for pattern making

Step by step instructions...

1. Sketch the pattern...

Roughly sketch the basic body shape of our model, then based on the sketch draw out the pattern of the dress...

2. Transfer pattern onto fabric...

After transfer pattern onto fabric, cut them out and lay out everything to make sure there are no missing pieces...

3. Start by sewing the top part...

Sew the back & front pieces together, then hem the top edge...

4. Sew the bottom part...

Pin and sew the bottom part for one side...

5. Attach the top and bottom part together...

Pin the top and bottom part together right side to right side~ Cut the back bottom part by half, then sew them together...

After that, sew the other side edge of the dress together...

6. Attach the zip on the back~

7. At last, hem the bottom edge of the dress...

And you're DONE!!!
