Another Easy DIY clothes for Plus size Barbie...

A cute summer vibes outfit can't seems to be complete when there is a top without a shorts... ^.^

So we decided to make a simple and easy shorts tutorial which goes along the sleeveless top...

Things you'll need for this project :

- Fabric of your choice

- Needle & thread

- Scissors

- Sewing pins

- Sewing machine (recommended)

- Button (I'm using snap button)

- Paper and pen (for pattern)

Step by step instruction...

1. First, choose your model and take measurement for the pattern...

Lay one leg of your model on paper and trace the outline for the thigh~

And then roughly draw the pattern based on the outline of the thigh...

2. Cut out the pattern~

After cutting it out, put on your model and check if the length is to your like...

3. Trace the pattern on fabric leaving gaps in between for allowances~

4. Cut them out~

5. Place the pieces in position and pin them together right side to right side...

6. Sew the outer seam

7. And then, sew the inner seam without sewing the front and back rise...

So I included this picture for you guys just in case you have no clues which part is which... ^.^

8. After that, pin the front rise right side to right side and sew them together...

Don't forget to try on our model to make sure it fits~

9. As for the back rise, pin them right side to right side and sew only half way together and the rest separately... Also we have to make sure there's enough overlapping for the button...

10. Hem the edge of the waistband~

11. Sew on the button of your choice~

12. Lastly, to create a fray end...

Cut to the length to your desired, and with a sewing pin, carefully draw out the thread on the fabric...

And it's DONE~~~
