Adding Sleeves to Dolci Dress~

We really in love with the design of Dolci Dress... It's look so simple and yet so elegant, even though there's some hard work needed to be done~

But it's one of our favorite designs so far~

And so... we think of how to make more design based on it... >.<

That's how this sleeve dress design turn out!!!

Things needed for this project...

- Fabric

- Needle & thread

- Sewing pin

- Sewing machine

- Water soluble pen

- Zip

- Scissors

- Pattern for this dress (which you can get below...^.<)

Instructions step by step...

1. First of all, refer to our previous Dolci Dress tutorial to make the dress...

Put the dress aside after it looks like the picture below...

2. Then, it's time to decide whether you wish to do a half sleeve or short sleeve... Of course you can do both... >.<

Trace the pattern of the sleeve on your fabric...

*Remember to do one with an opposite direction also leaving some gaps in between*

3. Cut them out...

4. First, hem the edges where the red line indicate...

5. Then, use the gathering function in sewing machine to sew on the green line...

*You can do it by hand if you don't have a sewing machine or there's no such function in your machine*

Make some riffle for the sleeves cuff...

Use a pin to secure the cuff and try the width with hands of your model to make sure it fits...

6. After that, secure the riffle with normal stitches and sew the sleeves half way towards the cuff...

7. Now it's time to attach the sleeves on our dress...

Put the sleeves on our model and also the dress...

Use sewing pin to secure the place where they overlap each other...

Sew the overlap area together so that they'll become one piece~

8. After that, sew on the riffle at the bottom of the dress & zip at the back...

And you're DONE~~~
